Silhouette Cutting for Tang's Chinese New Year fringe activities

I had done silhouette cut for Chinese New Year fridge activities at Orchard and Vivocity last month, the backdrop paper of the artwork was provided by the client.

As per 40 cutting per hour, for the 4 hours event on each day, I managed pulled the crowd by completed about 120 plus pcs portrait silhouette. I would say any artist in Singapore doing silhouette cutting should be easily done their work at such speed else they are cheating the client.

I always demand my silhouette cutting as detail as possible and as realistic as possible because the impact view depends on the accuracy of the artwork that compares with the real person's side view.

As my usual principle: Whenever I do the show, I will try my best, deliver my b est to the guests.

I demand my work as close as possible, as accurate and realistic as possible because Silhouette cutting is a real skill required work, never claim that there are caricature like output, it demand strictly details and look alike output of artwork; not sort of job that you dare to do it, you have a pair of nice scissors you claim yourself an expert, holding a professional expensive camera to claim yourself a good cameramen, sit on the director chair and you think can lead the company stuffs.

Unfortunately, there are too many fake artists in the industry.

Silhouette Cutting at Penang, Malaysia 5 Apr 2019

That was a great experience to have a chance doing my silhouette cutting at Penang, Malaysia at Lexis Hotel on early of April.

It was my second time to Penang after my secondary school holiday till now, in my age of 50! Haahaa!

I not a travel enthusiast but my event booking made me travel ;p

I found many delicious food in Penang and I really enjoy it!

Had dine in this "The Little Chef " western food restaurant which near the Olive Tree Hotel I checked in, the food was amazing!

I like the poster on the wall. The text "店有雅号，客人自到", means if the shop had a reputation, the customer will come automatically"!

Yes! If you tried your best to provide good product, your customer will come to look for your instead you go to look for them ;p

I seldom do couple type cutting except certain events like wedding, or when there are sufficient time for me to do so. To do 2 in 1 cutting, the scoring must be very accurate otherwise the output unable to use. ;p

One of the Roving Silhouette Cutting Job

Did roving silhouette cutting at the field at Marina Bay last month, for one of the NTUC event under event company's engagement.

It was one of the biggest event I do up to now ;p

I always try my best to do the cutting within 1 cut, so both pieces of artwork can be given to the guests ;p

My Silhouette Cutting

Just did an event for product launch last week and great I got a chance to do for Chanel's event again ;p

In my experiences, a product launch event, the size of the guests could be from 20 guests and it could be up to hundreds of guests.

As an entertainer, you have to apply your skill to entertain the guests well and as a professional silhouette artist, I will try my best to entertain as many guests as possible within the booking hours.

Within an hour, I am able to produce about 40 silhouette cuttings and if some one  could help me to paste/ put my artwork on the card /plastic bag, my speed could up to 70 cutting per hour.

Due to the portrait silhouette is mainly emphasize on the outline of the side view or the portrait, you need not need to do any detail on the eyes, the ears, the ear ring, the eyes etc, meanwhile you should be able to produce an artwork within a 1 minutes unless the hairstyle of the guest is really complex that will be different story, but it would not required more than 5 minutes to complete the artwork.

I believe most professional silhouette cutting sure be able to complete a straight hair silhouette cutting within a minute.

I able to do 2 in 1 silhouette cutting but only limited to selective events, because such cutting required more than a minute. You really required a real skill to produce a two in one silhouette artwork, it was testing of how good of your visual skill that able to apply the right scale and ratio of both side profile in a piece of paper.
